Research Advancement using UL’s Project Management methodology

Research advancement is a key priority for the University of Limerick. 

The Information Technology Division (ITD) and OVPRI (Office of Vice President Research and Innovation) used the ITD Project Management methodology to successfully deliver Elsevier Pure, to the academic team.

The methodology provided a structured framework for planning, governance and risk management, and ensured the project remained on track, met its defined objectives, and was delivered on time and within budget.

Pure has now been widely adopted and now boasts over 1500 active researcher profiles, 85 research units and almost 44,000 research outputs are active and accessible at pure.ul.ie.
